Sage 100 ERP, the new name for MAS 90 and MAS 200
Sage Software announced, in October 2011, the planned change of name for branding purposes from the current Sage MAS 90 ERP and Sage MAS 200 ERP to Sage 100.
Their motivation, per Sage, is to create a more consistent brand experience for it's partners and customers.
Customers will start seeing communications from Sage about the rebranded products in early 2012.
Sage Summit, the annual conference for Sage Customers and Resellers, will reference the new product names.
In the October 2012 timeframe, customers should see the new names on product purchases and updates.
Sage 100 ERP Standard
Sage 100 ERP Standard is rebranded Sage MAS 90.
Sage 100 ERP Advanced
Sage 100 ERP Advanced is rebranded Sage MAS 200, the client/server version of MAS 90, for companies with over 10 users.
Sage 100 ERP Premium
Sage 100 ERP Premium is rebranded Sage MAS 200 SQL, the client/server version of MAS 90 with an SQL back end.
